The Save Undershaw Preservation Trust

Undershaw in Hindhead, Surrey, United Kingdom, is the former residence of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and his family. Today, the house lies abandoned and in shambles and its current owners intend to convert it into a series of town houses.

The Undershaw Preservation Trust has a Judicial Review coming up on 23rd May 2012 to try to overturn planning permission which has been granted for Conan Doyle’s house to be converted to town houses and therefore lost. The hope is that it can become a museum and writers centre.
